One diner, Teddy Lupin, expresses a sentiment shared by many: “Best damn food I've had in my life. Like mana from heaven.” From the freshly made tortillas to the tender, flavorful meats, every bite at Doña Concha is an experience in itself. The distinctive touch of the potatoes is a highlight, described as “FIRE”—a testament to the kitchen's skillful preparation and emphasis on quality ingredients.
Another customer, Steve Geller, raves about their chicken tacos. The thoughtful garnish of cilantro and onions, combined with two shells and lime wedges, takes these tacos to a new level. The complimentary side sauces add to the symphony of flavors, making it a dining experience to remember. As he notes, “Taste. Value. We loved it. We WILL be going back.” This speaks volumes about the establishment's ability to deliver exceptional meals that offer great value for money.
First-time visitors are welcomed warmly, as Jessica Banker found during her visit. The friendly staff catered to her needs, making the wait for her meal enjoyable. Her only regret was not ordering enough tacos—an all-too-common lament for those who discover the delicious offerings at this eatery!
The reputation of Doña Concha extends beyond just tacos. NJW, another satisfied customer, praises the outstanding food, particularly the cabeza, claiming it's some of the best he's tasted. This variety is part of what sets Doña Concha apart, offering patrons an authentic experience infused with tradition.
While the atmosphere might not scream elegance (being in the Menards parking lot), there’s a certain charm about it. With the promise of outdoor seating in the warmer months, diners can enjoy their meals while soaking in the open sky. And, as noted by Goli Ziolek, the quesabirria served on weekends is a special treat not to be missed.
In summary, Doña Concha Mexican Food #2 isn’t just a stop for a meal; it's a culinary journey that captures the heart and flavors of Mexico. With genuine hospitality, quick service, and a menu filled with mouth-watering options, it’s no wonder this spot has won accolades in local contests. “ This was my first time visiting. Staff was kind, friendly, and attentive, they listened to my needs and wants. The wait was understandable and we were given a device that allowed us to sit in our cars and wait. The food was absolutely amazing. My only complaint is we didn't order enough tacos!!! Delicious! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much! As for the atmosphere, it is in Menards parking lot, so some tables come spring would be nice, but it's by a tree, and plenty of sky to see. Close to the interstate, so it's a great quick stop. ”

“ We just ate here for late lunch, for the first time. We bought three chicken tacos. They added cilantro and onions. Each taco came with two shells and a wedge of lime and side covered containers of sauces. WOW! The wife and I were amazed. Taste. Value. We loved it. We WILL be going back. And they use pagers to let you know when your food is done. This place is run right ”

“ Best damn food I've had in my life. Like mana from heaven. So flavorful and fresh, with fresh tortillas and amazingly tender meat, and the potato! These are not your grannies potatoes. These potatoes are FIRE. ”
“ Best quesabirria in town. It's only available Friday and Saturday, so it's a special treat. Other food items are quality with good flavor. The service is always friendly. I'd love to give them 5 stars, the only issue is consistency. Sometimes the food is top-notch, and sometimes it's not. Also, they aren't open on Sunday and Monday, which is when we like to dine out. ”
“ Love going g there for tacos . I accidentally creating a new menue Item. "Cabana torta" you should try it one time. It's a torta with all the meats on it including egg. Although it is about $20, but worth it ”
